We FINALLY found a Bedroom Set we love after going to EVERY Furniture store in Columbia!!!! I was beginning to feel like we would never find anything we liked!!!!!!!!!

We found it at Haverty's. We should have gone there first instead of last! The bedroom set is called "Ashebrooke". It is just a simple, classic looking set which is exactly what we wanted.It is very similiar to a set from Pottery Barn that I have always loved, but the price tag was much better! :) We got everything you see in the photo plus another nightstand.

Because this set is in such high demand, we can't have it delivered until February 17th....but trust me, it is so worth the wait!!!!

Family run business, Cousins Furniture Stores donated the furniture to Chase Academy to help spruce up their common room ahead of this year's A and AS level exams. The sixth form pupils who use the room for both socialising and study decided to write to John Shotton, Managing Director of Cousins to ask for help in bringing their common room up to date.

Cousins Furniture were happy to help and the students chose a modern black leather suite from the company's Dudley store.I hope their new sofas will encourage them to work hard and I will be keeping a keen eye out for their exam results.

Two lucky people will get the chance to appear on television in a new commercial for one of the Midland's biggest furniture retailers. Auditions will be held at Cousins Furniture's Tyseley store this weekend to coincide with the anniversary of its opening. The search is to find two people to sit on a sofa in the new TV campaign that will air towards the end of the year. The winners will not only be filmed for the commercial but can enjoy being pampered on a two-day spa break at Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire. Cousin's managing director Robert Shotton said: "We're delighted to be able to offer people the opportunity to take part and I'm confident that we are going to find a great couple to star. The auditions are bound to be fun, the filming should be exciting and the when the adverts run over the New Year, it's going to be a surprise for anyone who knows them! We were inspired by our customers - real people will be as good, if not better than the lifestyle models we usually hire in for our adverts. Anyone interested needs to turn up with a friend or partner and pose for a photo between 12pm and 3pm at the Warwick Road store on Saturday, before filling out some details. It is not necessary that entire house should have one particular colour or shades of it. Colours may vary from room to room. There is no harm if there is no match, not even contrast, between drawing room and other rooms.
